There’s truly never enough time for Toronto. The last three days of our North American tour were divvied by two sold out dates in the Legendary Horseshoe Tavern, accommodation in both the schwank boutique Gladstone and the dank Hotel Grange, dining experiences with immediate and extended family, visits with old friends, close friends and new friends, in equal measure our time spent between the city’s sunny weather and sweaty club shows. And during every moment, I felt my heart strings pulled. Downtown Canada, you have too much to offer us. I got to cry with my Mom and my sister, eat Dim Sum with my most beloved, host a dj party with our truest fans, check out an exclusively Sci-Fi book shop, play to the most packed and devoted crowd we have and feel pride in Diamond Rings’ guest appearance during What About Us?  We tried to fit it all in, we extended our hours into the wee-est morning hours but, truly, Toronto, there is never time enough. You have become one of our greatest cities on tour. You riot and sweat with us. You offer comfort. You feed us well. You have energy enough. I am always utterly blown away.

Even when we were racing to make our flight to Salzburg and our van broke down, a fitting end to a perfect tour, I couldn’t stop smiling with the joy you had given me. Toronto, you are fucking perfect. Perfect.
